A seven year head start
Jacklyn Anuwe, Operations Supervisor and incoming JD student, USC Gould School of Law
I started mentoring Jacklyn when she was a sophomore in college. That year I helped her land an internship that paid her over ten thousand dollars in a single summer. Seven years later we are still working together. Along the way I introduced her to industries, people, and opportunities she did not know existed, guided her through her first job, and coached her through law school essays that went well beyond what a tool like ChatGPT can produce. She launched her career straight out of undergrad, with a liberal arts and social sciences degree, at a starting salary of over one hundred thousand dollars. This fall she begins her JD at the USC Gould School of Law. Starting early, with someone in your corner, compounds.
